This list is an essential guideline for those going on any open water dives or expeditions. This list is in addition to mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuit. Remember that what you bring you are responsible for and you must be able to carry. The club provides life jackets and weight belts but it is much appreciated if you have your own.

bulletBlack bin liner ( for bringing home damp wet- suit, hood, gloves, etc )
bulletGroundsheet (this can be a plastic sheet or blanket to keep equipment or the sand or pebbles).
bulletDivers chalk not talcum powder because it can damage the wet suit.
bullet2 towels
bulletWindcheater THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE ESSENTIAL   , To use after and between dives to stop unnecessary  wind-chill
bulletFlask of hot drink to warm up cold bodies
bulletFood , as much as required to keep going
bulletPair of flip flops / sandal for walking to and from the waters edge if you do not possess dive boots
bulletHead protection,  a baseball cap is the best idea
bulletSun Block,  a must if hot because the water enhances sun rays
bulletThis is only a rough guide and you can bring whatever you want but it’s your responsibility and you will be the one carrying it.
